Louise T. Prestwood

Louise T. Prestwood, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023, at the age of 101. She was a lifelong member of St. Elias Maronite Catholic Church at St. Elias in Birmingham. She was famous for her Lebanese cooking and her Christmas Eve parties. Louise is survived by her sons, James Prestwood, Jr. (Pam) of Fairhope, AL and Richard Prestwood of Gulf Shores, AL; daughter, Cecila Lewis (Hayden) of Fairhope; grandchildren, Smith Prestwood (Jessica) of Fairhope, Alexa Prestwood of Birmingham, Morgan Prestwood (Kayla) of Portland, OR, Austin Lewis of Fairhope, and Reid Prestwood of Birmingham; four great grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Ritchey of Birmingham; nieces, nephews and many other loving relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held Friday, December 22, 2023, at 1:00pm at Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Bessemer, Alabama. To honor her memory, donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to Shepherds Place at Fairhope United Methodist Church.
