Louis Oscar Gonzales, Jr.

Louis O. "Poncho" Gonzales, Jr., 60, a resident of Chickasaw, AL, formally of Delacroix Island, LA passed away November 9, 2017 at Mobile Infirmary Hospital in Mobile, AL. Louis was born March 9, 1957 in Delacroix, LA. He was the son of the late Oscar Louis Gonzales and Rosalie Marie Gonzales. Louis loved to sing and go thrift store shopping. He is loved and will be missed by many and will never be forgotten. He is preceded in death by his parents; five uncles, Paul Gonzales, Sr., Richard "Kayo" Gonzales, Sr., Severo Gonzales, Casimere "Kazzie" Gonzales, Jogi Gonzales and one aunt, Barbara Gonzales Pelas. He is survived by his partner, William E. "Bill" Flouro; four sisters, Roxanne Gonzales Fay and husband Jeff, Jane Gonzales Ezell, Wendy Gonzales Etheridge and husband Billy and Jennifer Rose Gonzales; one brother, Rodney David Gonzales; two uncles, Thomas Gonzales and wife Joan, Lazarus "Satch" Gonzales and wife Betty; four aunts, Darlene Gonzales Johnston and husband Earl, Lillian Gonzales, Rosie Alphonso Gonzales Bottoms and Joan Gonzales; his long time friend, Daniel "Danny" Stovall and many nieces, nephews and cousins.Family will hold private memorial at a later date.
