Lois Mae Loomer

Lois Mae Loomer, age 77, passed away March 4, 2018 at The Brennity Assisted Living Center in Daphne. Lois was born in Two Harbors, MN. to Richard and Mabel Tranah. She was a resident of Two Harbors, MN, Gillette, WY, Silver Bay, MN, and Mulege, Mexico.  Lois was a registered Nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, MN, Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette, WY, the Joint Commission on Accreditation a at Hospitals (JCAH).  She was a graduate of Two Harbors High School and St. Luke’s School of Nursing. She is preceded in death by her husband, Delwyn Loomer; parents, Richard and Mabel Tranah; son, Steven Holbeck; grandson, Joshua Holbeck; and sister, Patricia Eikill. Lois is survived by her daughter, Joni (Brad) Ojard of Spanish Fort; son, Drew (Tammy) Holbeck of Brooklyn Park, MN; stepson, Dale (Sussan) Loomer of Apple Valley, MN; brother, Bill (Helen) Tranah of Two Harbors, MN; sister, Bonnie Woincrowski of Prescott, WI; grandchildren, Dr. Erinn Ojard (Michael) Schmit of Hoover, AL; Dr. Connor (Kristen) Ojard of Kenner, LA; Brianna (Jarod) Lee of St. Louis Park, MN,;  Alylssa Holbeck and Pierce Holbeck, both of Brooklyn Park, MN;  Isaac Loomer of Chicago, IL; Lacey Loomer of Providence, RI; great-grandchildren: Theodore and Violet Schmit, Anna James and Emerson Ojard. A Celebration of Lois’ Life will be held Thursday, March 8, 2018, at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne.
