Linda Loper

Linda Smith Loper, 67, passed on Thursday, January 6, 2022. She was born in Mobile, raised in Wagarville, and a longtime resident of Daphne.

Linda graduated from Leroy High School in 1972 and went on to obtain a degree in dental hygiene from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She continued on to receive a degree in Education followed by a Master’s Degree which she graciously used as a Library Media Specialist to serve the community within the school system.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Buddy Loper of Daphne; son, Tyler (Lara) Loper  and grandson John Tyler Loper of Houston, TX. ; and many other loving relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Sunday, January 9, 2022 in the worship center of Resurrection Church (formerly Daphne United Methodist Church) with a prayer service starting at 3:00pm.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Wagarville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Wagarville Baptist Church.
