Leo Franklin Tolbert

Leo Franklin Tolbert, age 81, a native of Foley and resident of Lillian, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022. Leo retired from Reichhold Chemicals in Pensacola, after 44 years. Along with spending time with his family, he loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. Mr. Tolbert was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Tolbert and John Tolbert; sisters, Ernestine King and Annie Tolbert. He is survived by his daughters, Wanda Cullver and Wendy Donovan (Clyde); grandchildren, Jennifer Tolbert, Jeffrey Cool, Jr., Brandon Donovan and Emily Donovan; brothers, Telton Tolbert, Melton Tolbert and Elbert Tolbert; his companion of 34 years, Leola Howard; her children, Joseph Watson, Mark Watson, Rebecca Edwards and Carol Till; along with Leola’s numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held from Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 10 AM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
