Laura Denise Phillips

Laura Denise Phillips, age 42, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. Laura was a graduate of the University of South Alabama. She was an accomplished author and artist. Laura was a devout Catholic who loved attending Mass at The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with Father Skoneki. Laura was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edward and Nina Thierry, George and Margaret Peterson; aunt and uncle, Suzette and Steve Vickery. Laura is survived by her mother, Alma Mueller (Leo) of Fairhope; father, George Donahue Peterson; brother, Phillip Peterson (Tiffany) of Mobile; nephews, Bradley and Bennett Peterson; aunts, Nina Jones (Ken) of Zebulon, GA, Carolyn McLaughlin (Dr. Tony) of Fairhope; uncles, Edward Thierry (Brenda) of Theodore, Mike Thierry (Ann) of Dauphin Island, Tommy Peterson (Dorothy) of Daphne. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 10:00am at Magnolia Cemetery in Mobile, Alabama.
