Laura Payton Gordon, a resident of Chickasaw, Alabama, passed away Friday, October 25, 2024, at the age of 58. She was born in Mobile, AL to Jack and Mona Pickett.
Laura’s greatest joy was being a mother to her children, Payton and Carter. She loved to travel with her significant other, Dub. She enjoyed being by the water and boating. Her biggest hobby was picking and canning tomatoes and vegetables.
She is survived by her daughter, Virginia “Payton” Gordon of Pensacola, FL; son, Ewing “Carter” Gordon of Tallahassee, FL; brother, Lee Pickett of Folsom, CA; sister, Melissa Dansak of Fairhope; her significant other, Dub Walker of Chickasaw and numerous other loving relatives and friends.
In remembrance of Laura, a celebration of her life will be held Friday, November 8, 2024, at 11:00am at the Bluff at Fairhope pier.
To honor Laura’s memory, donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to Colon Cancer Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
