Laura Anne Lambert Colquitt, age 79, a native of Geneva and a resident of Daphne, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017. She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Daphne; a member of the Ecor Rouge Chapter of DAR and a former member of the Geneva Woman’s Club. Laura Anne was a graduate of Auburn University where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority and received her Masters from University of South Alabama. Laura is survived by her daughter, Margaret E. (Janet) Lambert of Mobile; her son, Daniel (Teresa) Lambert of Geneva; 2 brothers, George (Carlotta) Lamar Beck, Jr. of Santuck Community, Ricky (Karol) Beck of Geneva; 2 grandchildren Jessica (Ashley) Simmons of Samson , Kayla (Trent) Freeman of Mobile; 1 great-grandson, Elliot J. Simmons, of Samson; her nieces, Beverly Rohlfing, Chelese Beck, Candace Smyth, Natalie Justice, Abbie Kay Beck, Lydia Langham, their families and a host of friends. Visitation will be held, Friday, August 11, 2017 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM from the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. A Celebration of Laura’s Life will be held, Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 11:00AM from St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Daphne. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
