                                                                              Larry Travis Wilson                                                                 August 27, 1958- December 5, 2019   Larry Travis Wilson, 61, a native of Bay Minette, Alabama and a resident of Seminole, Alabama, Died December 5, 2019, at South Baldwin Hospital in Foley, Alabama. After graduating from Baldwin County High School, Larry T. worked several jobs as he dreamed of becoming a Songwriter. His love of the outdoors led him to hunt and fish as much as possible with his Dad, brother and friends. He especially enjoyed his time fishing with his Mom. Time spent with his nieces and nephews were some of his best memories. In the 1990’s he followed his dreams to the Flora Bama to begin his career in the music business. Larry T. and his skills on the harmonica and vocals have many fans and friends along the Gulf Coast and around the world. He had many songwriting credits including platinum recording artist, Sammy Kershaw “Too Far Gone To Leave”, Marty Rabon of Shenandoah “Take Jesus as Your Lawyer”, Cherie Austin “No More Chasing Rainbows”, the group 4-Runner “The House At the End Of the Road, as well as Larry Cordle “ The House at the End of the Road, and David Frizell “ Charlie Loves Hazel”. Larry T. performed regularly at the Flora Bama and at many other establishments and events throughout the Gulf Coast over the years. His love of family, friends and music was known far and wide. He will definitely be forever missed by so many. Larry was preceded in death by his parents Lavender Travis Wilson, and Joan Winifred Alexander Wilson; sisters Betty Ann Davison and Jean Mrie Philippi; nephew Johnathan Everett Davison and Chad Everett Davison. He is survived by his brother John Raymond (Linda) Wilson; nieces Jennifer Wilson (Nicholas) Peterson, Christy Lynn Philippi; nephews John Raymond (Melanie) Wilson, Jr., James Eric Davison; and a special friend Kim. Your thoughts and prayers meant so much to him throughout his life and they mean so much to his family now, thank you. A small private service will be held in Stockton, Alabama and a Celebration of Life will be planned for a future date.
