Kitty Knapp Broach

Kitty Knapp Broach, age 73, died on Thursday, December 7, 2017.  Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, Kitty received her undergraduate degree from the University of South Alabama and her Master’s degree from the University of Alabama.  She worked as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for many years with USA Medical Center and Mobile Infirmary.  Kitty will be lovingly remembered by her husband and best friend of 54 years Bob, and their children, Bob Broach Jr., Kathy Broach Brian, Debbie Ritchie and son-in-law Wil Ritchie. She is preceded in death by her daughter-in-law Therese Lindstrom Broach.  She is also survived by her precious grandchildren Spencer Ritchie, Ben Broach, Ayla Ritchie, Emily Broach and many other loving relatives and friends.  Kitty enjoyed many years living on the bay watching sunsets with Bob.  She so loved time with her grandchildren, family and friends.  A Celebration of Kitty’s life will be held on December 16, 2017 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Beckwith, 10400 Beckwith Lane, Fairhope, Alabama 36532.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Ben Walls Memorial Jam, Inc., PO Box 40344 Mobile, AL 36640, a non-profit organization raising money to assist individuals battling cancer.
