Kimberly Renee Wolfe, raised in Birmingham, Alabama and resident of Gulf Shores, Alabama, died in her home Friday January 17, 2025, surrounded and loved by family and close friends.
Kim was a retired fire Captain with the Pell City Fire Department and served with them from 1989 until 2016. After retirement, she continued to work part time for the established fire department until she moved with her mother to the Gulf Coast in 2019. While residing in Gulf Shores, she took on part time employment at Waterville as an EMS provider during the summer season. She was also employed as an Adjunct Instructor at Coastal Alabama Community College in the EMS division.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kennth Wolfe and mother Judy York (Wolfe). Known to most as an avid fisherman, loyal friend, camper and outdoor enthusiast, dedicated firefighter, patient leader, and helpful neighbor, Kim has been and will forever be a memorable asset to all the communities she served. She will certainly be missed and always adored. Her memories will live on through all the lives she graced from one end of the state to the other.
Family and friends are welcome to the viewing from 1 pm to 2pm at Biven Chapel Church 3581 Cherry Ave, Birmingham, AL 35214.
A burial will be held at Bivens Chapel Graveyard at 2pm on Friday, January 24, 2025. Pallbearers will be members of the Pell City Fire Department
