Kenneth “Robin” Barnes, age 59, a beloved father, brother, uncle, and loyal friend passed away Monday October 2, 2023. Robin moved to Satsuma, Alabama in 1990, and was born in Montgomery, Alabama where he grew up. Robin was a Veteran of The United States Army. He received many badges during his service and was most proud of his 82nd Airborne badge and Jump Wings. He was employed at Tate & Lyle for over 23 years and greatly appreciated the love and support of his work family. Robin was known to be passionate about spending time with his children and friends. He was an avid fisherman, he loved to cook, and he was a die-hard Alabama football fan. He hosted some of the best game day parties where pigs in a blanket was a must! Everyone was invited to come unless you wore another team’s jersey. He was the last of a dying breed of American men that holds true to his beliefs. He worked hard for his family without question and was a very dedicated father and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He will forever live on in our hearts and our special memories that we cherish of him. We will never forget how determined he was and how hard he fought. We find comfort in knowing that he loved the Lord, and he is resting with Him for eternity. Robin was preceded in death by his father Cagle W. Barnes, his brother Ronald D. Barnes and sister Suzanna C. Barnes. He is survived by his three children, Tanner C. Barnes wife Britlly, Ashton A. Barnes and Austin W. Barnes; mother of his children, Christina Dance.
