June Williams Pardue, age 87, passed away February 28, 2021 with her children Lynne and David Pardue by her side after a recent stroke. She was born Sara June Williams, in June 1933 in Hiram, GA to Marvin Lanier and Wilma McClung Williams. She married Evan Lonnie Pardue on June 6, 1952 who preceded her in death in 2006 after 54 years of marriage. Her life was dedicated to her family to whom she was always loyal. She had a rapier wit, an encyclopedic knowledge of plants and loved the Gulf Coast of Mexico where she lived most of her life, and traveling. She never missed an event her children celebrated whether it was a wedding, graduation, or a ball game. June is survived by her daughter Lynne Pardue and husband Malery Williams, son David Pardue and wife Teodora, and grandson Evan Pardue. She was predeceased by her brother, Larry Williams. Her life will be honored as she wished at a graveside service Friday morning, March 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Fairhope, Alabama, 19698 S. Greeno Rd.
