Judy Lee Pearson, 76 died Saturday April 11th at her home in Point Clear, Alabama due to complications of Alzheimer's. Judy Lee was born in Fulton County GA and remained a longtime resident of Douglasville, GA. She was a 1961 graduate of Douglas County High School and completed cosmetology school to become a licensed cosmetologist. Her first job was working at Lee's Beauty Shop in downtown Douglasville and later opened her own beauty shop on John West Road in Winston, Georgia. Through the years she obtained many regular clients who became longtime friends when they came in each week for a "shampoo and set". In 2005 Judy retired to Fairhope, Alabama to enjoy her two grandsons and pursued her passion for painting. She is survived by her husband William Lee Pearson, her daughters Wendy Pearson Wade, Lori Pearson Carney and her grandsons Graham William Robertson and Mathew Ian Robertson of Fairhope AL. Her sister Linda Smith of Cedartown GA, brother Burt Lee of Gainsville, GA and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Raymond Lee and Ruth Lee of Douglasville, GA and her sister Joanne Fields of Winston GA.
