Judy Diane McCrory of Fairhope, Alabama, died on August 26, 2018. She was 75. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Vance McCrory, her son Davis, daughter Beth (Ken) Robbins, and sons Bart (Ginny) and Daniel (Lauren), and grandchildren Kendra and Lauren Robbins, Virginia and Ward McCrory, and Maris, Davis, Mac, and Norah McCrory, and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Audrey Sawyer Murphy. Judy was born on January 25, 1943, and grew up in Frisco City, Alabama. She attended The University of Alabama and graduated from the University of South Alabama. She obtained B.S. and Master’s degrees in education. She taught elementary school for 30 years in Mobile, Monroe, and Baldwin counties. Judy was a member of First Baptist Church of Fairhope. She loved playing saxophone and was a charter member of The Baldwin Pops, where she performed for 20 years. She also enjoyed playing tennis and dominos with her friends. Her favorite activity was spending time with her husband, children, and especially her 8 grandchildren, who all loved and cherished their MeMe.
