Judith C. St.Clair, a resident of Daphne, AL, passed away peacefully January 20, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer. She is predeceased by her husband, Albert R. St.Clair, mother, Frances Jeanette Miller and father, Thomas Martin Callan. She is survived by her daughter, Shannon Lane (Joe), Aimee (St.Clair) Valdez (Dean), Jeff St.Clair (Cindy). Grandchildren – “Grandma” to Callan Lane “Grand Judi” to Sara Miles (St.Clair) Agee, Elizabeth (St.Clair) Kumler, Zac St.Clair, and Bella Valdez. She is also survived by her brothers, Tom Callan (Teresa), Pat Callan (Shirley) and Kelly Carrigan (Lea), as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Born in Chicago, IL, her family relocated to Alabama when she was 8 years old. She attended St. Thomas Catholic School, and graduated from Bishop Toolen High School in 1963. She was employed by Scott Paper Company serving from 1965-1994. Her greatest career accomplishment was her position as Human Resource Director for the Mobile Paper Mill. She was highly respected for her professionalism and dedication. She was instrumental in the hiring process, recognizing qualities and values of so many. Her most fulfilling role was helping employees overcome their struggle with substance abuse and personal issues. It was truly rewarding to her to see people succeed and know that she made a difference. She had strong faith in God. She loved her family and friends unconditionally. She loved music, dancing, red wine and her Pekinese Teddy Bear. She will be dearly missed and will be forever in our minds and hearts! Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne, AL (memorial service at 4:00). A private interment will be held at a later date at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort, AL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s for Children.
