Juanita Fannie Parker 8/7/37-11/27/23
Juanita Parker passed away on 11/27/2023 in Shawnee. Kansas. A long-time resident of Foley, Alabama, she relocated to Kansas to be near family. Juanita was a homemaker and seamstress while raising her three girls, as her husband served in the U.S. Navy. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and First Presbyterian Church of Foley. She managed the school canteen at Foley High School for 20 years. After retirement from that, she volunteered at South Baldwin Hospital in the gift shop and at The Clothes Closet, a local charity serving her community.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents Herlon and Lydia Parker, her brother Talmage Parker (Virginia), daughter Eve Moore McGee (Leon), first husband Larry Clark and second husband Wayne Parker. She is survived by her daughters Benita Clark Holder (Andy) and Cynthia Clark Cooper (Virgil), her niece Beverly Wood, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A graveside service at Pleasant View Baptist Church’s cemetery will be held on June 17th at 2PM.
