Juanita Pippen Kendrick, age 84, a long-time resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 13, 2021. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward S. Coley, her second husband, John W. “Jack” Kendrick and daughter Catherine M. Coley. Juanita was an active member of the community having served as an auxiliary member and contributor to the Thomas Hospital Foundation, a member of the Fairhope Yacht Club, Fairhope Sail and Power Squadron and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. For many years she enjoyed serving as a traveling chaperone for the Junior Miss Universe Pageant. Her survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, E. Morris and Desiree Coley of Panama City, FL and Michael R. and Wendi Coley of Chattanooga, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Paul and Rose Marie Perfect of Fairhope; brother and sister-in-law, Vernon W. and Michel Welch, Jr. of Panama City, FL; and six grandchildren. A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 11:00AM at Memory Gardens of Fairhope. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Thomas Hospital Foundation.
