Joyce A Chase

Joyce A. Chase, age 83, a resident of Foley, AL, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022. Joyce was a native of the Chicago area. She was a long time accountant with the FDIC. After Joyce retired, she moved to Foley, AL. Joyce was a big proponent of education, the disadvantaged, and supporting their efforts to get ahead. Joyce enjoyed reading, museums, attending live performances, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Joseph McGuane, and brother in law, Dale Morsette. She is survived by her children, Suzanne Chase (William Brown), Michael Chase (Hanh Nguyen), Carol Chase (Stephen Wright); granddaughters Winnie and Linda; sisters Marilyn (Bob) Schwartz and Barbara Morsette; cousins and friends. Joyce will be interred at a later date at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois. A celebration of her life will be held Monday, March 28, 2022, 2:00 pm at her neighborhood community clubhouse.
