Josephine "Jo" Terry Brown

Josephine “Jo” Terry Brown, 85, of Foley, AL passed away at home after a long battle with illness. She was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed volunteering her time with the Red Cross and the Salvation Army. As a military wife, she had an opportunity to travel around the world. She was always quick to lend a helping hand and take care of her family members. She returned home to Foley, AL when her mother, Carlie B Terry became ill and needed assistance in the late 1970’s. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Carl B. Terry and John T. Terry. She is survived by her husband, Walter W. Brown; son, William B Brown; daughter, Destarte Brown Custer, a beloved sister, Arlie Terry Thornton; grandchildren, a niece and nephew, and extended family members.
