Jon Joseph Schiller

Jon Joseph Schiller was born on June 5, 1964, in Newport News, Virginia, to Joseph John and Alice Traynor Schiller. He died unexpectedly, but peacefully, at his home in Fairhope, Alabama, early in the morning of January 18, 2025, as the result of a heart attack.

Jon grew up in Pascagoula, Mississippi. He graduated from Pascagoula High School in 1982 and shortly thereafter joining the United States Army, serving 11 years in the Army and 11 years in the Army National Guard.

Jon was predeceased by his grandparents, George Andrew and Gracemarie Schiller and Thomas Francis and Helen McNamara Traynor and by his beloved father, Joseph John Schiller.

He is survived by his mother, Alice Traynor Schiller; his sisters, Kathleen Schiller Devenney of Jackson, MS, and Deborah Schiller Potts of Remlap, AL; his brother, Eric Joseph Schiller and his wife, Theresa of Cropwell, AL. Also, he delighted in his ten nieces and nephews and ten great nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held by the family at a future date.
