Jon David Parker

Jon David Parker, age 81, a resident of Edmond, OK, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, an avid Alabama football fan, and a self-employed custom home builder. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth & Imo Jane Parker, and a brother, James Lee Parker. Mr. Parker is survived by his wife Janice Parker of Edmond, OK; daughter, Julie (Thomas Behrens) Parker also of Edmond, OK; son, Jeff (Peggy) Parker of Destin, FL; grandchildren, Lauren Michelle (Michael) Klaiber, Jacob David Parker,Katherine Lynn (Joshua) Sanders, Mason Raymond (Briana) Hall, Thomas Brandon (Megan) Hall, and Shannon Marie Hall; great grandchildren, Parker Rose Hall and Madison Leigh Klaiber; many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 27, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. The family will begin receiving friends at 10:00 until service time. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, to the support of his wife, to the Alzheimer’s Association – 225 N.
