John Edward Pritchett

John Edward Pritchett, age 71, resident of Fairhope, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017. John was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. He was a former employee with the City of Fairhope. John was a faithful volunteer in the Fairhope Civitan Club, Baldwin Pops, and Boy Scouts of America. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Dougherty. John is survived by his wife, Carol H. Pritchett of Fairhope, AL; 2 sons, Gene Pritchett of Huntsville, AL, and Jack Pritchett of New Orleans, LA; 3 daughters, Mary Pritchett of Mobile, AL, Julie Liller of Mobile, AL, and Carolyn Aponte of Austin, TX; 7 grandchildren, Nathan, Matthew, Andrew, Christian, Lily Anne, Audrey, and Luella; 1 sister, Mary Jane Fisher of Daphne, AL; 1 brother, Eugene Pritchett of Biloxi, MS; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. A Rosary Service will begin at 5:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Fairhope, AL. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
