John E McKeown

John Elmer McKeown, age 80, a native of Pittsburg, PA, and a resident of Daphne, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018. He was a devoted husband, loving father, served his country in the US Air Force, was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and retired from Unisys Corporation. John is survived by his loving wife, Pat McKeown of Daphne; 3 daughters: Tracie (Shawn) Ethington of Daphne, Pam Mills and Jill McKeown, both of central Florida; 5 sons: Tony (Joni) McCarthy of Atlanta, GA, Michael (Cindy) McCarthy of Daphne, Sean (Jennifer) McKeown of Miami, FL, Jeff McKeown and Scott McKeown, both of Tampa, FL; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; Eugene McKeown and Jerry Kurtz, both of Pittsburg, PA; a host of other loving relatives and friends. A celebration of John’s life will be held on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Daphne.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of the service. John’s family would like to send a special thanks to the entire staff of Kindred Hospice.
