John Franklin Heyer, 68, a resident of Loxley passed into eternal life on Thursday, April 1,2021. He was a devout member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. John was a 1970 graduate of McGill Institute. He went on to become a founding partner of the firm CPSI in Mobile, AL. He was a loving father who was dedicated to his family, an avid gardener and deer hunter, and he loved motorcycles and cars. John was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Barbara Heyer as well as his brothers, Michael Heyer and Paul Heyer. He is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years, Ellen Heyer; 4 children: Charles (Cecelia) Heyer of Mobile, Jessica Heyer of Daphne, Christina (Sangam) Shrestha of Robertsdale, and Matthew (Nicole) Heyer of Louisville, KY; brother, Joe (Susan) Heyer of Eight Mile; sisters, Jeannie (Ray) Williams of Lucedale, MS and Annette (Henry) Presley of Semmes; sister-in-law- Ann Heyer of Loxley; 5 grandchildren: Bella Heyer, Eva Heyer, Aubrey Heyer, Patrick Heyer and Ryan Heyer; numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am with Rosary Service at 10:30 am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Robertsdale. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Belforest Catholic Cemetery in Daphne, AL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Patrick's Catholic School Tuition Aid Fund.
