John Willie Carter, II, age 78, a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Friday, September 3, 2021. He was a Professor at Faulkner State Jr. College and Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. He was the President for Baldwin County Hunting Club for 54 years; was a wood carver and loved his family. John was an avid Alabama Football Fan. He is survived by his four daughters, Pamella Carter Thomas (David) of Fairhope, Patricia Carter Cassebaum (Craig) of Elberta, Karen Carter and Allison Carter of Fairhope; his two sons, Will Carter (Jen) of Milton, FL and Stuart Carter (Dara) of Washington, DC; grandchildren, Brandi Bagby, Raven Williams, Steven Cryar, Logan Thomas, Blakey Carter, Addilyn Statham, Aubrey Ott, Ainsleigh Carter, Garrett Cassebaum and JC Cassebaum; great grandchildren, Jason Nedoroscik, Vivian Carter Williams; sisters, Betty Barr (James) and Elaine Tolbert (Dan); mother of his children, Dorothy Carter; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A celebration of John’s life will be held Friday, September 17, 2021, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 1:00.
