John Ballantyne

John William Ballantyne, age 82, a native of Philadelphia, PA and a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018. He was a graduate of Germantown Academy and attended Temple University. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Fairhope; and served with the Baptist International Mission Board; and was a lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fan. He is survived by his wife Marjorie Ballantyne of Fairhope; sons, John W. (Lisa) Ballantyne Jr. of Montgomery, Thomas (Milagros) Ballantyne of Bedford, TX and Christopher (Kecia) Ballantyne of Caledonia, MI; daughter, Jennifer (Dirk) Flad of Fairhope; grandchildren: Daniel, Katherine, Michael, Heather, Jacob Ballantyne and Andrew Flad; three great, grandchildren; sister, Dolores Smith of Jenkintown, PA and many other relatives and friends.
