Joel Gordon Sirmon

Joel “Gordon” Sirmon, age 90, native and resident of Daphne, AL, passed away Monday, December 3, 2018. Gordon held the longest membership at Daphne United Methodist Church and was a farmer for 78 years. He was a loving husband, father and granddaddy. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Shirley D. Sirmon of Daphne; 3 daughters, Vivian (David) Tarwater of Daphne, Charlotte (Ronnie) Norris of Fairhope, Brenda (Joe) Allen of Daphne; 2 sons, Joel J. (Patti) Sirmon, James A. Sirmon, both of Daphne; close family friend, Charles “Boo” Nelson; 19 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Dorothy Frangioni of Ft. Walton, FL, Amanda (Mac) Baker of LaBelle, FL, Carolyn (Bill) Courduff of Colorado Springs, CO; brother-in-law, Omer Foley of Valpariso, FL; other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at Daphne United Methodist Church on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends from 9:30 am until time of the service.
