Joe Carlton East

Joe Carlton East, age 69, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021. Joe was an active member of the Fairhope Yacht Club. He loved to sail and was very involved with his children’s sports activities. Joe was preceded in death by his father, Carl “Don” Graydon East and brother, John East. Joe is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jan East of Fairhope; children, Emily (Brian) Tam of San Jose, California, Evan East of Fairhope; sister, Martha (Steve) Page; mother, Jo Ann East of Algonquin, Illinois; brother, David (Donna) East of Mequon, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Ella and Graydon Tam; nieces, nephews; along with many other loving relatives and friends. A celebration of Joe’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fairhope Junior Yacht Club, 101 Volanta Avenue, Fairhope, Alabama, 36532.
