Jo Ann Mosley

Jo Ann Mosley, age 79, a native of Selma, former resident of Geneva and a resident of Spanish Fort, passed away, Sunday, September 23, 2018. She was a member of Eastern Shore Baptist Church.  Jo Ann graduated from Geneva High School in 1957 and graduated from the University of Alabama in 1961 with a Bachelors’ Degree in Music. She worked for more than 30 years for the city of Alexandra, VA.  She was an avid music lover, played piano and organ for Duke Street Baptist Church, Alexandra, VA. Jo Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Rush G. Mosley; her parents, Mr. & Mrs. J. B. Anthony of Geneva, AL. She is survived by 1 daughter, Cheri (George, Jr.) Ferral of Spanish Fort; 1 son, Joe (Cindy) Mosley of Daphne; 5 grandchildren, Lucy Mosley of Auburn; Russ Mosley of Daphne; George (Amy) Ferral, III. of Levittown, PA; Zachary Ferral and Kelsey Ferral, both of Spanish Fort; numerous other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held, Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Eastern Shore Baptist Church, Daphne, AL  The family will  receive friends one hour prior to the service. Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM, from Mosley Cemetery in Gilbertown, AL. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations in memory of Jo Ann be sent to Eastern Shore Baptist Church, P.O.
