Jimmy Glenn Taylor, 87 died Wednesday June 30, 2021, surrounded by family at home after a chronic illness. He was born October 5, 1933, in Randolph County, Delta Alabama to the late Andrew Jackson Taylor and Annie Ellis Boyd Taylor. He was an avid runner and loved his family. He retired from Wyeth Pharmaceuticals after 32 years. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force. He was a long time resident of Jackson Tennessee and a member of the First United Methodist Church, Jackson Tennessee. Services will be held at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery 10 am, Friday, July 16, 2021. All friends and family are welcome. Survivors include formerly married to Carolyn McCutcheon, the mother of his three children, Emily Beebe and her husband Danny Beebe of Orange Beach and Robert Glenn Taylor of Spanish Fort, and Margaret Parr and her husband Jeff Parr of Fairhope and five grandchildren Daniel Beebe and his wife Allison Eckert Beebe, Caroline Skadow and her husband Bobby Skadow, Brittany Nicole Taylor, Emma Lepere and Jackson Lepere and two great grand children Elenora Claire and Eloise Catherine Beebe and three siblings Don Taylor, Charlotte Hester and Pam Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings Bob Taylor, Luville Taylor, Linwood Taylor, Marjorie Mellon and Andrew Jackson Taylor Jr. (infant).
