Jim Edwin Rogers, age 71 of Silverhill, AL, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024 surrounded by his family and his significant other Nancy Kooyenga.
Jim served his community through his church, Greenwood Community Covenant Church.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents Buck and Marcheta Rogers.
He is survived by his three sons, John Rogers, Joshua Rogers and Hurdis Rogers; grandchildren James Rogers, Juliette Rogers, Zillah Nicole Rogers, Sophie Miller and Jessie Miller, many other relatives and friends.
A Memorial for Jimmy Rogers will be held Sunday, May 5, 2024 at 12:00pm from Greenwood Community Covenant Church. A luncheon will be served following the Memorial Service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Greenwood Community Covenant Church.
