Jerry Dale Covington

COVINGTON SPANISH FORT, ALABAMA Jerry Dale Covington, age 70, a resident of Spanish Fort, Alabama, died Sunday, January 30, 2023. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Henry R. and Lillian V. Covington. Jerry was a United States Army veteran who serviced in Vietnam. He was an avid ham radio operator. Jerry was a loving husband and father. Jerry is survived by his wife, Katherine Mae Covington of Spanish Fort, Alabama; stepdaughter, Samantha Jones of Bay Minette, Alabama; stepson, Tommy Childers of Fairhope, Alabama, nieces; nephews, and other loving relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at the Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne from on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Interment will follow in the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery , Spanish Fort at 1:30pm. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org.
