Jerry William Barnett, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Monday, October 21, 2024, at the age of 78. He was born in San Antonio, Texas to James and Adalaide Barnett.
Jerry was an outdoorsman and enjoyed shrimping. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was also a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He was preceded in death his daughter, Monica Barnett Felton and brother, James “J.J.” Walton Barnett, Jr.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 58 years, Linda Barnett of Fairhope; grandchildren, Leann Cink (Paul) of Spanish Fort, Chad Barnett Felton of Mobile, and William Henry Felton (Hailey) of Fairhope; great grandchildren, Miles Cink and Natalie Cink; brother, Michael Joel Barnett of New Mexico and numerous other relatives and dear friends.
A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held at the Church of Apostles in Fairhope, on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 2:00pm. Visitation for friends and family will begin at 1:30pm.
