Jeffrey Lee Sutherland

Jeffrey “Jeff” Lee Sutherland, 66, a resident of Gulf Shores, Alabama, passed away Friday, February 14, 2025.

Jeff was a loving husband to his wife, Jan for 40 years. He was a dedicated member of Lagoon Baptist Church in Gulf Shores, AL. where he loved teaching his weekly men’s bible studies class. Jeff had his master’s in biblical counseling and used his knowledge to write many books. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jan Tarpley Sutherland; sister, Bess (Don) Malin of Clinton, MS; brother, Jimmy Sutherland of Birmingham, AL; niece, Tara Mills (Andy) of Madison, MS; along with his cousins, dear church family, and other loving relatives and friends. 

Graveside services will be held at Miller Memorial Cemetery in Gulf Shores, Alabama on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at 10:00AM.
