Jeffrey "Rick" Coleman

Jeffrey Richard (Rick) Coleman, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at the age of 58. He was born February 26, 1964 at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio to John and Lee Coleman of Foley. Rick was the proverbial “Beach Bum.” He loved the sea, sand, shells, sunrises and sunsets over the Gulf. He enjoyed spending time in a boat with friends and a fishing rod. He was a die-hard Georgia Bulldog fan! He is survived by his mother, Lee; brother, John Ronald; sister, Shari Ballinger (Eugene); nieces, Robin Giancola (Nick) and Emily Garner-Ballinger; great-nephew, Austin Coleman; great-niece, Addison Jackson. Rick also leaves behind a dear friend, Muriel Swoger; two “chosen brothers” Alan Long and Travis Knight and his fur baby, Ginger. A Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 2:00 PM at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 506 N. Pine Street, Foley. A Celebration of Rick’s Life will be held in Georgia at a later date.
