Jeanette Clodfelter died peacefully at home on the morning of Christmas Eve, December 24, 2023, in the loving presence of her husband Mark Clodfelter and his brother and sister-in-law Jeff and Julie Clodfelter. She was born to Suzanne Beall Brueggeman and Albert Joseph Brueggeman on October 25, 1954, in Mobile, Alabama, and spent her childhood in Mobile and Fairhope and in Bartlett, Illinois. Jeannette met Mark at Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois. They were married in Daphne in 1975 and lived in Jacksonville,IL, while finishing their senior years until they moved to Daphne, AL, in 2007. Jeannette worked in services to special needs adults and was both social worker and advocate for the populations she served. After moving back to Alabama, she was a volunteer at the Exceptional Foundation and became involved in her church as a greeter and usher, in preparing for funerals and receptions, in straightening the sanctuary between services, and as moderator of Presbyterian Women. Jeannette leaves behind many good friends as well as multiple cousins and their children scattered across the country but frequent visitors to Daphne over the years. A Memorial Services will be held for Jeannette at 2:00pm on Friday, January 19, at her church, Trinity Presbyterian in Fairhope. A time of fellowship will follow in Trinity Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Exceptional Foundation (28788 N. Main Street, Daphne, AL 36526), Trinity Presbyterian Church, (545 S.
