Jean Ann Tarrow Donaldson, 89, a resident of Foley, Alabama, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024.
In Jean’s early years, she grew up in Michigan. She later moved to Alabama in 1980 where she became a devoted member of New Life and Christ Church. Jean had a passion for gardening and going antiquing, and in her spare time, that’s where you could find her. Her most cherished moments, were spent bird watching with her beloved grandchildren.
Preceding her in death by her loving husband of 62 years, David Jack Donaldson; 5 brothers; 4 sisters; and grandchild, Matthew Pomeroy.
Jean is survived by her daughters, Debbie Pomeroy (Steve) of North Carolina, Lori Kinsey (David) of Foley, AL; sisters, Dorothy Weeks, Gail Mitton (Bill), and Shirley Tarrow all of MI.; grandchildren, Beth Ann Ballou (Nathan), Amy Jo Vargas (Marcel), Ashley Lauren Duggan (James); great-grandchildren, Alex Ballou, Marissa Ballou, Nathan Ballou Jr., Kennedy Ballou, and Jack Christenson. Along with many other loving relatives and friends who had the privilege of meeting her.
