Janet Jones Kearney

Janet Jones Kearney, age 76, a native and former resident of the Hudson Valley area in New York State and a current resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2020. Janet became a Master Gardener while living in Fairhope. She also loved quilting and was a member of several quilting groups, including Quilts of Valor. Janet also enjoyed participating in bible studies and was an avid pet lover. Janet was preceded in death by her brother, Vance Jones, Jr. Janet is survived by her son, Kevin Kearney (Chie) of Burke, VA; daughter, Amanda Marino (Montchai) of Daphne, AL; sisters, Eleanor Sells of Holden Beach, NC, Seneca Rising of Guerneville, CA; brothers, Peter Jones of Amenia, NY, and Ronald Jones of Copake, NY; grandchildren, Madeleine, Marissa, and Maddox Marino, Shannon and Meagan Kearney. Graveside services will be held Monday, October 12, 2020, at 2:00 pm at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
