 SPANISH FORT, ALABAMA

 Janet L. Johnston, age 85, a resident of Spanish Fort, AL, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024, with her loving family by her side.

Janet was a loving wife, mother, and an avid “beginner” bridge player.  She expertly performed over 16 moves around the country while her husband took on new executive assignments.  She was a proud tribal member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.

 Janet is preceded in death by her brother, Joe Ray Blalack.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Lon Johnston of Spanish Fort, AL; daughter Renee (Don) Andrews of Georgetown, TX; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, 
 Daphne, AL, Monday, March 11, 2024, at 11 a.m.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.

 Interment will follow in Jubilee Memorial Gardens, Daphne.
