Jane Boller Moyer, a lifelong resident of Foley, Orange Beach and Magnolia Springs, died Sunday, May 8, 2022, following a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Benita Boller; her husband, Glenn Moyer; two brothers, Charles and Bill Boller; and one sister, B.A. Hagan. Following graduation from Foley High School, she attended the University of Alabama and later worked at People’s Fertilizer in Foley. After a long courtship, she married her husband, Glenn, and together they spent 54 wonderful years, until his death in 2022. Throughout her life, Janie was active in countless community activities. For years, she worked as a volunteer at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center and as a Red Cross blood drive volunteer. She was also a dedicated Foley High School band parent and served as “team mom” while her son and daughter were members of the University of Alabama Waterski Team. She was a longtime member of Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church in Foley. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Survivors include one son, Richard Moyer (Karen) of Magnolia Springs; one daughter, Melissa Bowers (Lee) of Marble, Colorado; three grandchildren, Rachel and Devin Moyer and Zeeland Bowers; niece, Patti Stewart (Clark); and other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A Celebration of Jane’s Life will be held Friday, May 13, 2022 at 11 AM at Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church in Foley. A visitation and reception will follow in the Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall. The family requests memorial donations be made to Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church, P.O.
