James Harry "Bo" Weeks Sr.

James Harry “Bo” Weeks Sr., age 70, a resident of Foley, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2024.

Bo was an avid commercial fisherman, boat captain. He was a loving father, devoted brother and grandfather. Bo had a love for fixing boats and a love for old cars. He enjoyed being out by the water mullet fishing any chance he could. Bo was loved by all of his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lillian Weeks; and wife, Janet Weeks.

He is survived by his sons, James “Buster” Weeks Jr. (Charlene), and Richard Weeks; daughters, Elaine Heyser (Truezell Hayes); Tonya Jones (Mike); 5 grandchildren; brother, Mack Weeks (Amy); special friend, Melissa LaCoste and family; Many nieces and Nephews; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 11:00AM in the chapel at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley.

The family will receive friends one hour prior. 

Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery in Magnolia Springs, Alabama.
