James Trotter

James Trotter, 91, a native of Hueytown, Alabama, and a resident of West Blocton, Alabama, passed away on June 13, 2023, in Fairhope Alabama in the presence of his family. James was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on March 13, 1932. He worked in the trucking business for 47 years. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and spending time with friends and family. His greatest passion was preaching and studying God's Word. Over 51 years, he pastored five churches and preached revivals all over the United States and overseas. He is survived by his wife of eleven years, Margaret Holder Trotter, his daughter Wanda Leigh Pickens (Richard Pickens), son Robert Shawn Trotter (Dr. Valerie Ann Trotter), and grandchildren: Hope Smith, Valerie J. Pestana Smith, Owen (Jolie Trotter), Evan, Bodie, and Lillyanna Trotter. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Trotter and Marie Bradshaw Trotter, brothers Gordon and John Trotter, sister Helen Trotter, and wife of 51 years Juanita Trotter.
