LOXLEY, ALABAMA James “Sonny” Stots, age 81, a resident of Loxley, passed away Monday, October 8, 2018. He was a U.S. Army Veteran; he loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and driving his tractor. Sonny is survived by his wife of 40 years, Inez G. Stots of Loxley; daughters, Rose Marie Bond of New York, NY, Cynthia Piggott (James) of Fayetteville, NC, and Patricia Reed (Chris) of Loxley; sons, B. Tony Davis of Bronx, NY and Chris Griffin of Cary, NC; thirteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister, Loree Brown (Louis) of Foley; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will be held at the Alabama State Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort.
