James Paul Scott

James Paul Scott, age 81, a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Scott of Fairhope; daughter, Angela (Gene) Hernandez of Katy, TX; son, James Scott of Walker, LA; sisters, Mary Ellen (James) Baker of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Susan (Shane) Atkins of Forest City, NC; granddaughter, Emily Hernandez; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Mr. Scott’s Life will be held Friday, August 6, 2021, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, at 2:00pm. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00pm In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, St. Michael’s High School in Fairhope, AL, or St. Lawrence Building Fund, Fairhope, AL. The family would like to extend their thanks to Comfort Care Hospice; his caregiver, Debra Mitchell; and faithful friend and neighbor, Charles Travis.
