James Arthur Mitchell

James Arthur Mitchell, age 81, a resident of Atmore, Alabama, passed away on August 8, 2021. James was a member of Bible Way where he served as a deacon. He loved watching Westerns, wrestling and walking the Fairhope Pier. James was preceded in death by his son, Tim Maurice Mitchell. James is survived by his children, Gloria Harris of Century, FL, Linda (Fred) Lumpkin of Birmingham, AL, James (Wanda) Mitchell of North Carolina, Kim (Ray) Williams of Atmore, AL; mother, Alma Mitchell; brothers, Lonnie (Marion) Mitchell, Van (Toni) Mitchell, Mike Mitchell, Tony (Francine) Mitchell, Nathan Mitchell; sister, Liz Watson of Panama FL; along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11:00am at Bible Way Holiness Church, 12120 Boone Ln, Fairhope. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00am.
