James Marshall McKinney

James (Jim) Marshall McKinney, age 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 19, 2022, surrounded by family. Jim was a US Navy veteran. He loved spending time with his family, sailing, Mardi Gras, and watching Alabama football with friends. Jim is proceeded in death by his father, James Lavender McKinney, mother, Mary Alice McKinney and brother, Ron McKinney. Jim is survived by his wife; Karen Harber McKinney, daughter; Courtney McKinney, granddaughter; Ansley Bain, sister; Cherri McKinney (Steve), brother; Ben McKinney (Brenda), sister-in-law; Ellen McKinney, brother-in-law; Randy Harber (Nancy), sister-in-law; Melissa Harber and many other loving relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life for Jim will be held Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Lake Forest Yacht Club from 2pm-4pm.
