James "Jim" Starnes

James “Jim” Starnes, age 79, a former resident of Fairhope and a current resident of Mobile, passed away on Sunday January 6, 2019 at home surrounded by his family.  Jim served in the United States Army and was the owner of Star Upholstery in Fairhope for 30 years.  He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Starnes, sons, Steve (Pixie) Starnes, Neal Starnes and Shawn (Keli) Starnes, 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Daphne, Saturday, January 19, 2019, at 2:00PM.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service.
