James Edward “Ed” Fondren, Sr., 76, a resident of Fairhope passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021.
Ed was an avid Alabama fan, fisherman, and hunter. He is loved and will be missed by his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Fondren of Fairhope; cherished daughter, Traci (Wesley) Yoakum of Fairhope; devoted son, Jimmy (Tammy) Fondren of Fairhope; three sisters, Virginia (Don) Presley of Perdido, Alabama, and Cathy (Dennis) Thomas of Summerdale, Alabama, and Alice Miner of Indiana; two brothers, Billy (Sherry) McClantoc of Summerdale, and Richard (Louise) McClantoc of Summerdale; five grandchildren, Kristen, Tanner, Daniel, Jacob, and Wesley; three great-grandchildren, Skylar, Stella, and Mary Kate.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at 11:00am at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home Fairhope Chapel. Visitation will begin at 10:00am. Burial will be held at Brook-Cedron Cemetery following funeral services.
