James Edward Smith, Jr.

  On December 26, my brother James (Bubba) E Smith, Jr went to be with our Lord. Since the death of our parents, James & Sybil Smith in 2004, I have cared for him. This was a promise I made to my parents. Heaven has gained another Angel. He’s in heaven with his infant sister, Mary Anne, his dog & little buddy, Pee Wee, eating little Debbies and drinking a Diet Coke. RIP Bubba, Booba, Bub, Edwards; until we meet again love you, your little sister, Dianne He worked 37 years for the VA Hospital in Shreveport, La and 5 years for BeBo’s (popcorn man) in Foley, Al. Bubba was a simple person. He loved old & fast cars (raced some in his younger days). He loved family especially his nephew, Tony (Deric) Litton, his niece, Tonya Litton Young, his great nieces, Madison & Rylee, his sister, Patrice (Patti) Doles and cousins Wayne and Donald Villemarette and many more cousins & friends. In Lieu of flowers, we ask for donations to be made to: Ecumenical Ministries (Meals on Wheels) in Fairhope, Al and Knights of Columbus for the Physically/Intellectually Disabled.
